From the Founder


When I graduated from college, I certainly wasn't thinking "I want to sell shower doors!" When Magruder Associates first became an idea in my mind, I was working in Ohio in 1983 for Union Carbide in sales and wanted to get back east. My father in law was a manufacturer’s representative and had a territory open in New England and was trying to launch sales for Century in the territory as they had none. Fast forward ten years and he had sold me the rep business. From there, I could not handle all of the business so had to hire another representative. We continued to grow, and had to add another person, Mark Sorenson, in 1997. This is when we got involved with Rohl LLC, which is what really launched us into a strong, showroom focused, rep team. Over the last decade we have continued to grow, expanding throughout New England. As we celebrate over 40 years in the kitchen and bath industry, I have always felt that in order to understand our company it is important to know where we come from and how we got here! We were not decorative showroom reps when we started, we grew into it and learned it over time. Our focus is and always has been superior customer service, excellent training, and making sure if our customer has a problem with any of our vendors, we embrace finding a solution for them. Our Mission Statement is something we take very seriously and know that if we are not adding value to the relationship between showroom partner and manufacturer, we don’t need to be taking up space. After over four decades in the trenches, Magruder Associates enjoys the privilege of representing so many well known brands like The House of Rohl, Thermasol, and Century Bathworks, along with all our other partners.

Outside of work, I’m an avid golfer, who loves playing with my wife & friends. I’m very involved with my church in New Hampshire. I’m an experienced competitive shooter. I’m also a certified CPR AED trainer.

Throughout my career I have taken on different roles in different places I have worked. It wasn’t until late 2019 that my experience led me to cross paths with John Magruder and accepting a position with his amazing team. When it comes to sales, I have extensive knowledge in the areas of plumbing, kitchen, bath and building materials area.

Outside of work you will find me either traveling to explore one of our great American cities or hiking in the Adirondacks. Being born and raised in Poland I am also a bilingual speaker in English and Polish languages.

I have proudly worked with Magruder Associates as a sales representative since 2010, covering Southeastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. In that time, I have managed our shower door partners and decorative plumbing showrooms throughout my territory. In my free time you can find me on the golf course, or spending time with my three children, Maren, Aidan and Madison.

I have a total of twenty years in the construction trades as a craftsman and high-end finished carpenter. Eleven of those years include project management and sales experience as a business owner. I earned a degree in Industrial Design from RIT and focused my work on the delicate balance between form and function. Additionally, I am a cancer survivor as well as a transplant recipient. It is my belief that these combined experiences developed skills that make me a great asset to the Magruder Associates team.

I joined Magruder Associates at the end of 2017 after working in Healthcare and Executive Recruiting. Working with a wonderful group of people and learning something new every day is important to me, and I’m fortunate to have found that here at Magruder Associates.

When I’m not at the office, I love spending time with family and friends, gardening, and anytime by, in, or on the water.
